Tiberiu is the founder and president of Fundația Ceata (), a Romanian foundation doing activism for freedom of software and culture. Ceata is aligned with the Free Software philosophy
of the GNU Project and is involved with organizing digital freedom events and developing free software and free cultural works.

Tiberiu is a software engineer with over 8 years of experience in designing, developing, and advancing free software. He is an active supporter of the idea that users should be in control of the software they use, learn to modify it and be able to share their improvements with the society.
